Summary:

Adaptive Solutions is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO/Chief Consultant in day-to-day operations. This role requires excellent time management, communication, and administrative skills, and offers a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership to advance strategic goals.

The Executive Assistant will handle confidential information, manage schedules, coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and ensure smooth executive operations across the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO/Chief Consultant’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as the point of contact between the CEO/Chief Consultant and internal/external partners
  • Coordinate high-level meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication and documentation across departments
  • Assist in planning and execution of strategic initiatives and projects
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all interactions
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare briefing materials as needed
  • Manage office tasks including filing, record-keeping, and other administrative duties
  • Support in managing vendor and partner relationships where applicable
  • Perform other office tasks and duties as assigned by the CEO/Chief Consultant

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Management, Public Administration, or a related field, from a reputable university

  • 2+ years of experience in an executive or administrative assistant role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with the development sector or consultancy environments is a plus

Adaptive Solutions is seeking a Communications Intern to support their marketing and communications efforts. This role combines creative content creation with analytical skills to help enhance the company's brand presence and engagement across various channels.

The Communications Intern will work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling content, manage social media platforms, assist with email campaigns, and analyze performance metrics. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in corporate communications while contributing to the company's marketing objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content for blog posts, social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website and social media platforms
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including content creation and distribution
  • Monitor social media trends and community engagement
  • Help compile analytics reports to measure performance of communications efforts
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external events
  • Conduct research to support marketing initiatives and content development
  • Provide administrative support for the communications department as needed
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new marketing and communication strategies
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all communication channels

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or HND from a reputable university
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.

Desired skills

  • Strong strategic planning and implementation skills.

  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and donor development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Master’s degree in development studies, psychology or related field, or equivalent years of experience will be an added advantage.
